80-The Prang at Si Thep
The pagoda at Si Thep is the best evidence of the existence of the ancient city of Phetchabun, which once owned the largest ancient city in central Thailand. The ancient city began to develop in the Bronze Age about 2,000 years ago, and was governed by the Hindu faith in the 6th and 7th centuries. Then, from the 8th century AD, the Buddhism of Buddhism and the Mahayana sects flourished there. Later, in the 13th century, residents migrated to other places due to the geological sinking caused by the flood.
